You can file a complaint with the Ethics Commission, both personally and through a representative, if you believe that your rights and interests have been infringed by a lawyer. When filing a complaint by representative, you should include a statement of credentials stating that your representative is authorized to conduct your case with the Ethics Commission.

You can only file a complaint regarding the action of inaction of a lawyer within the scope of his or her legal practice.
