In 1996 she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University;

In 1996-1998 she studied at the postgraduate course of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University;

On September 26, 1998 she successfully defended her Candidate's dissertation (12.00.02 - Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Municipal Law) and by the decision of the Dissertation Council of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University he was awarded the degree of Candidate of Juridical Sciences.

Since 1996 she has been teaching at various universities: Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Gori State Teaching University, Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Georgian-American University, Caucasus University, Tbilisi Humanitarian University, Gr. Robakidze University, Shida Kartli Secular University.

In addition to pedagogical activities, she is engaged in practical activities: 5 years worked as a legal consultant in NGO working on the rights of IDP, 7 years headed the Legal Support Division of the Georgian National Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, 2 years from LEPL to Agricultural Research Georgian Water and Power is the administrative dispute resolution body.

Since 2001 she has been a member of the 25th International Congress of Administrative Sciences, in 2001 she participated in the 25th International Congress of Administrative Sciences in Athens, in 2002-2004 she participated in the technical assistance project of the Greek-Georgian Parliament As a management team expert; In 2004 she participated in the 15th Summer School on Human Rights in Poland, in 2012 she passed a training course in Hungary: "Introduction to Electricity Markets". In 2012-2013 she participated in the Georgian-Austrian joint twinning project "Development of Recommendations on Tariff Methodology Improvement".

In 1998-2002 she was a member of the Qualification Examination Commission of Judges at the High School of Justice of Georgia, in 2007-2011 - a member of the Qualification Examination Commission of the Georgian Bar Association, in 2014-2015 she was a member of the Competition-Certification Commission of the LEPL Agricultural Research Center.

Maka Salkhinashvili was a member of the Georgian Bar Association in 1998-2006, a member of the Georgian Bar Association since 2007, a member of the Dissertation Council of the Caucasus University School of Law in 2009-2018, a member of the Civil Law Committee of the Georgian Bar Association in 2014-2018, and the Georgian Bar Association 2014-2018 Member of the editorial board of the magazine "Lawyer". Member of the editorial board of the magazine "Lawyer Recommends" since 2019. Since 2022 she has been the co-chair of the Administrative Law Committee of the Georgian Bar Association.

She has participated in many international and local conferences, has published about 60 scientific papers both in Georgia and abroad.

She received the Caucasus University Award - Best Lecturer of the Caucasus School of Law for the 2006-2007 academic year.

Announces the gratitude of the Georgian Law Students Association - a diploma for supporting the National Civil, Administrative and Criminal Olympiad in 2007.

In 2021, the Youth for Human Rights Society (YFSR) announced its appreciation for its contribution to youth development.
