Workshop on the issues concerning the fight against money laundering and terrorism financing was held for the representatives of the Executive Board, Ethics Commission and the Thematic Committees of the Georgian Bar Association. The workshop was delivered by an international expert with support of the European Union.

During the workshop, the expert spoke about international standards for combating money laundering and terrorism financing, and presented to lawyers the practice of EU countries in detecting suspicious transactions.

A series of trainings for lawyers will be held on this issue in upcoming months, which will be supported by the EU program - "Support to Public Administration Reform in Georgia".
