With the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Germany, an in-depth training module was developed for representatives of the Bar Association, and a training of trainers was conducted on the topic: the right to live in a healthy environment and access to environmental justice.
The training covered topics such as: the triple planetary crisis; the essence of environmental law; the importance of environmental regulation; civil litigation in environmental matters, and more.
The training was led by expert Ana Beridze.
The training of trainers was attended by those lawyers who had previously completed a basic training within the same program, on the topic of adult learning methodology. The goal of this training was to enhance participants’ competencies in planning high-quality trainings and applying educational methods.
This training was led by expert Nino Chaladze.
The aim of the training of trainers is to form a group of trainers within the Association, who, with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Germany, will actively engage in the further professional development of all interested lawyers.
The Bar Association will launch intensive trainings on this topic for interested lawyers in the near future
