The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the East-West Management Institute (EWMI) have introduced a new, five-year rule of law program to representatives of the courts, local and international organizations, the media, and universities.
The plan includes projects to be implemented in 2022-2026, which envisage strengthening the rule of law, the independence of the judiciary and the possibility of better access to justice for all segments of society.
The Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association addressed the participants of the event. Davit Asatiani spoke about the importance of establishing credible and quality justice and the role of advocacy in this process.
