At the plenary session of November 21, 2024, the "Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe" (CCBE), which unites Bar Associations of 45 countries and more than a million European lawyers, Once again expressed his strong support for the Georgian Bar Association and unanimously decided to grant the Georgia Bar Association the status of an associate member of the CCBE.
At the meeting held in Brussels, it was noted that CCBE supports the development of a unified, strong and independent legal profession in Georgia, which is guaranteed by the progress shown by the Georgian Bar Association.
The Chairman of the Bar Association, David Asatiani, presented a report and thanked the European colleagues for the consistent and systematic support of the Georgian Bar Association.
