On October 10-11 in cooperation with Georgian bar association and with the support of the US Embassy in Georgia, within the framework of the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) a private sector conference was held on the topic: Intellectual Property Law & Policy.
At the opening of the conference David Asatiani, the chairman of the Georgian Bar Association gave a welcoming speech to the participants.
During the meeting Issues related to intellectual property law and policy were discussed such as: Influencing Policy to Promote Intellectual Property Rights; Georgia’s State of Play for Intellectual Property; New Technologies and Techniques in the Fight Against Counterfeiting; Successful Brand Protection Strategies etc.
