On October 30th, at Marriot Hotel Tbilisi, the Georgian Bar Association organized a meeting with the support of the "Global Interest Public Network" (PILnet) on the issues of the development of pro bono services system.

The Georgian translation of the pro bono textbook published by "The Global Network of Public Interest Law" was presented during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Davit Asatiani, Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Irakli Kandashvili, Chairman of the GBA Educational Council and Giorgi Tshekhani, Executive Director of the Georgian Bar Association. 

"Development of pro bono services system represents one of the priorities for the Georgian Bar Association. Similar services are a clear and practical implementation of the social responsibility of lawyers and we plan to continue active work in this direction, "- stated Davit Asatiani.
