On March 19, the Chairman of Georgian Bar Association – Zaza Khatiashvili, the members of the

Ethics Commission and the staff of GBA participated in the information campaign connected with

the International Down Syndrome Day.

In 2011, under the auspices of United Nations Organization, 21st of March was declared as an

International Down Syndrome Day. On this day, different activities are arranged in many countries

of the world and among them in Georgia, in order to raise awareness towards Down syndrome.
