At the plenary session of November 21, 2024, the "Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe" (CCBE), which unites Bar Associations of 45 countries and more than a million European lawyers, Once again expressed his strong support for the Georgian Bar Association and unanimously decided to grant the Georgia Bar Association the status of an associate member of the CCBE.

The Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Davit Asatiani, hosted Trive Staff, the head of the Oslo branch of the Norwegian Bar Association, and a delegation of Norwegian lawyers.

Traditionally, an oath-taking ceremony was held at the event dedicated to the Day of Georgian Advocacy, during which 150 new members were recently added to the lawyers’ corps. Graduates of the professional adaptation program solemnly took the lawyer’s oath, and the chairman of the association presented them with attorney’s certificates.

The conference participants were addressed by the chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Davit Asatiani; the director of the Legal Aid Service, Davit Simonia; the head of the diplomatic office of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Georgia, Marcos Granados Gomes; and Trive Staf, head of the Oslo branch of the Norwegian Bar Association. Members of the Georgian Bar Association were also present.
